Terms of Use

1. What this service is

This is software you pay to run a task, once. You are not opening an account with a company that manages things for you over time. You buy a budget of render units with a single crypto payment, the software performs exactly the renders you ask for, delivers the result, and then forgets you. You operate the tool; you are responsible for how you use it.

There is no recurring charge, no auto-renewal, and no salesperson. When your budget is spent, nothing continues and nothing bills again unless you place a new order yourself.

2. Payment (pay-as-you-go, in USDC)

• You pay once per order, up front, in USDC (a US-dollar stablecoin), to a single-use payment address generated for that specific order. The price is shown live and in full before you pay.
• The payment address belongs to your order only. It is not a shared address and not a personal wallet we hold for you.
• We are non-custodial: we never hold, control, or take custody of your funds beyond receiving the one payment for the units you ordered. We are software that reads a public blockchain to confirm your payment — not a bank, exchange, or payment processor.

3. Refunds, and payments sent by mistake

• All sales are final. There are no refunds. This keeps the service fool-proof and human-free: there is no support desk to staff, and no recurring plan to cancel.
• A payment sent to an expired or unassigned address, or a duplicate payment, may be non-recoverable. Each order's address is single-use and tied to that order — please pay the exact amount to the exact address shown, before it expires. Note that these terms bind those who complete an order; a payment to a stale address from someone who never checked out is a mistaken transfer, not an order under these terms.
• Where a large payment clearly arrives by mistake, we apply an internal review threshold above which a person takes a look — not because we're obliged to, but because our trust model is visible fairness.

4. Your data — we forget you completely

Privacy is the product, not a policy afterthought. SwarmBrowser is the strictest, log-free service in the family.

• We collect no personal information. No name, no real identity, no KYC, no location, no tracking.
• We keep no logs of your activity. We never store your target URLs or the rendered bytes — no screenshot, no PDF, no scraped content is retained. The only durable trace of a render is a compact row carrying the endpoint, a SHA-256 hash of the target, the region and the units it cost.
• Retention decays to nothing. That hashed metadata is kept in full detail only for a short window, then reduced to a small non-personal aggregate (counts only) for up to about one year, then deleted entirely. Nothing is kept forever.
• Complete erasure. When your last dataset expires, we delete everything tied to you — the metadata, the email-to-key mapping, and the access key itself. Afterward you leave zero trace, and if you return you are simply a new customer.
• You hold the permanent copy. Each render hands you a signed receipt you can verify against our public key for as long as you keep it. We keep nothing about your results — you hold the proof.

5. Your identity and access

• Your identity is an opaque access key (a long random string, prefixed sbk_) issued when you order. It is unique and never reissued. Treat it like a password — anyone with it can spend your budget and see your history while it exists.
• An email is optional and used only for recovery (a one-time magic link to recover access). It is never used for marketing and is deleted along with everything else on erasure.
• Because we hold no identity for you, if you lose both your key and your recovery email, we cannot recover your access — there is no identity for us to check against. This is the cost of real privacy.

6. Acceptable use — you must have the right to access the target

• Use this tool only against systems you own or are explicitly authorized to access, render, or scrape.
• Do not use this service to attack, overwhelm, harass, or infringe on anyone. A headless browser aimed at systems you don't control, or used to violate a site's terms or others' rights, may be illegal and is strictly prohibited.
• The service includes technical safeguards — including SSRF-safe egress that refuses to render private or internal addresses, and a per-task spend cap. These are anti-abuse measures, stated as intent: we deliberately do not publish exact thresholds.
• We may refuse or stop any job we believe is aimed at causing harm.

7. Taxes

• You are responsible for any taxes (including any VAT, GST, or sales tax) that apply to your purchase in your own jurisdiction.
• Consumption taxes on digital services generally depend on the customer's location, which our zero-personal-data design deliberately does not collect and cannot determine. Because of that, we do not calculate, collect, or withhold taxes for you — assessing and handling any that apply is up to you.

8. No warranty, and you accept the risk

• The service is provided "as is," with no warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that a target is reachable, that a render matches what you expected, or that results are error-free.
• This is a tool, not a managed service. Where a choice could harm only your own systems, the tool warns you but does not block you — you keep control and accept the risk of your own configuration.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific job in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

9. Non-custodial and not a payment service

We never take custody of customer funds and we do not move money on anyone's behalf. Payments flow directly to per-order addresses and are confirmed on a public blockchain. This non-custodial property is load-bearing: it is what keeps us "software, not a payment processor," and we will not compromise it for convenience.

10. Changes

We may update these terms for new orders. Changes apply to orders placed after they are posted; they do not retroactively change a job you already paid for.

Service-specific terms

SwarmBrowser

• SwarmBrowser is the strictest, log-free service: it keeps essentially nothing, by design — never your URLs and never the rendered bytes, only hashed metadata.
• A per-task spend cap of 100 USDC applies (a safety ceiling, not a target).
• It is explicitly a tool, not a service: you direct it, you are responsible for the tasks you run, and it must not be used to access systems you are not authorized to use.
